On the fireground crews put a tower ladder, a deck gun and hand lines into service on what was described as five junk cars ablaze, according to the traffic. The fire was contained and brought under control with overhaul ongoing, and damage was put at roughly $10,000.

A resident on Windsor Ridge called in that the teen had run past his house toward Lake Avenue, and by 1:18 PM officers reported locating her safely in front of 10 Windsor Ridge; her mother took her back to the family's residence a short time later.

AMR arrived on scene within a few minutes and the call was cleared shortly after 11:13 AM.

Deputies Track Erratic Pickup Through Mayville's Four Corners

Just after 11:35 AM, Chautauqua County sheriff's dispatch fielded calls about a tan Chevy pickup weaving all over the road after leaving Lakeside Park, with callers reporting the driver appeared intoxicated; a deputy soon radioed that he was behind a tan Chevy heading north through the Four Corners of Mayville.

The deputy also passed a tan Silverado pulled off along Maple Street and circled back to check it, but by 11:45 AM dispatch reported “no violations observed” and cleared the stop.
