Erie County countywide EMS placed the patient near Mickey Rats and repeated the injury as “severe leg laceration, cops reporting it's down to the bone”.

A water-rescue extrication was in progress minutes later with crews working to bring the patient to shore, and a second countywide unit was added to the run. The laceration was described as severe enough that the caller could reportedly see bone.
